MY LIFE IS A TORNADO*

Well well well....I know I have waited forever between posts, but my life has simply or complexly been insane! Paul and I have moved into the condo we purchased, and we have done some major renovations. This picture in the post is the view from when you first walk in the door. This is what out home looked like when we made the offer and bought it in February. So far the place is amazing!!! We have 1328 sq. ft. It is a one bedroom/one bath with a loft/2nd bedroom that we are using for a guest room and office area. The kitchen and dining room were separated, however, Paul (and me a little) took sledge hammers and saws to the wall closing up our kitchen. We have also widened the doorway from the dining room to the kitchen, gutted the bathroom, only leaving the shower-stall the same (but Paul refinished it himself!!!) We have replaced all of the flooring and put in so much electrical it is ridiculous. Paul straight up put in the new toilet, vanity, made a built-in for the bathroom, replaced a window, cut up the laminate flooring, cut and installed the baseboards and is in the process of making a bench for the office area. We also added a door to the bedroom upstairs as well as moving our bedroom door back 3 feet in order to have privacy so our guests don't have to go through our bedroom to get to the bathroom. This place looks nothing like it did when we purchased it and it has been absolutely nutz!!!!!!!!!! All of this work was planned and planned and finally executed more than once cause we had no clue as to what we were doing! So this wall you see here and the cabinets are not here anymore......thanks to the hard work of my man. Life is so crazy, not only did we do all of the renovations, plus moving, plus school which I got b's or a's on all of my midterms!!!! WOO HOO*** We both had work, his parents were here for a week and we have to do everything twice. It is frustrating, but I could not be happier to share these experiences with a better person. He is the love of my life and the man that makes everything better....maybe not at first but definitely in the long run. lol!! For our 1 year anniversary, Paul got the keys to our new condo without telling me. Our anniversary was on Valentines Day. So we spent the day preparing. He brought a whole bunch of stuff over to the condo, pots and pans and flowers, food a table and chairs and a bottle of wine. He picked me up and did not tell me where we were going. We got there and he told me that our loan funded and we officially got the place. (What an amazing anniversary gift)!!!!! We looked around and figured out what we wanted to do with the place. Got excited, made dinner, cleaned up, went to Home Depot and had the best day of my life. I got to celebrate my one year anniversary with my love in the home we will share for many years to come. I could not be more blessed. I have so little time left within school and the work is picking up. I have a few weddings that I am going to do soon, one in may and one in November and clients are referring people like nobody's business. I could not be more happy with the way that things are going in my life and I know that whenever there is struggle and strife that you are being pushed for things in your life that are to come. I know my life is still so open, I just hope that it continues in this light as well as continuing to flourish. I miss all of my family and friends and feel as though I have not seen you all in so long but when ou home is finally finished we will have a huge housewarming and hope that you can all come and visit!! If not, then next time...I'll post the updated pictures!!!! Miss you and love you all. Until next time...
